Screening Instructions

Kudos to all new employees as you embark on this thrilling professional journey.

Out of the 936 candidates who wrote the exam-based interview, 82 were shortlisted for employment at EvolvingGen Kenya, East Africa Division. Once again, a big thumbs up for making it this far. Together, we shall preserve Kenya’s ecosystem for future generations.

A physical screening would be held on Monday 9th January 2023, to validate your credentials, health fitness and personal identification before officially issuing appointments. You are mandated to come along with the following documents:

1️⃣ Valid Means of Identification: Acceptable IDs are National Identity Card, International Passport or Driver License.

2️⃣ Educational Credentials: The minimum qualification for Administrative Officers and Customer Service Reps is a diploma from an accredited Kenyan or Int’l Institution. Whereas, the minimum requirement for Operation Officer is a KCSE certificate.

3️⃣ Certificate of Good Conduct: This document is issued by law enforcement to declare that you have no criminal records. It is sometimes referred to as a Police Clearance Certificate. In Kenya, you can obtain the certificate either from the [1] Criminal Investigation Department or from [2] Authorised firms that specialize in obtaining legal documents.

For clarification, we would give a step-by-step guide depending on the method you choose to acquire your Certificate of Good Conduct.

Steps If Using Authorized Firms

➊ Get an authorized firm that process a Certificate of Good Conduct online like verifyafrica.com, safegadyou.com and many others.

➋ Through their website, make payments for the service which cost between KSh 800 – 950. Ensure you keep the record/receipt of payment so EvolvingGen can refund you on screening day.

➌ After payment, you should receive an online form link. Fill that form with accurate information, passport photograph and any valid ID.

➍ About four days after filing the form, you should receive a tracking ID from the authorized firm.

➎ Lastly, visit our job acceptance page, input your details/tracking ID and request an invite for the screening. The HR manager would personally call you and email some documents containing your financial compensation, detailed job description and screening venue.

Our team is suuppeerrr excited for our first in-person meetup as EvolvingGen’s Nairobi office lease would be finalized on or before 6th January 2023.

Steps If Using Criminal Investigation Department (CID)

➊ Visit the Divisional CID Headquaters in your province. The office location for Nairobi CID office is along Kiambu Road in Muthaiga area.

➋ Through the cashier office, initiate a payment of KSh 1,000 – 1,200 to a cashier at CID offices. Ensure you keep the receipt of payment so EvolvingGen can refund you on screening day.

➌ You will be required to fill a 3-page C24 form. Some divisional CID require a cover letter from our organization, so email us at team@egenfoundation.org incase they request it. Also go with two passport photographs and your International Passport.

➍ About eight days after applying, you will receive a tracking ID from the authorized firm.

➎ Lastly, visit our job acceptance page, upload your certificate to request an invite for the screening.
